Revolving
both clockwise and counter clockwise, the Orbiculight* Turntable allows
product to be lit with surrounding light - underneath, top, sides, front
and back. Lighting is seamless - a perfect tool for video or Quick Time
VR. Masking or drop-out shots are easily achieved with post-production
time greatly reduced. The Turntable is an excellent vehicle for video,
CD-Rom production, or web publication.
An
assortment of removable, plexiglass disks from 1" - 16" diameter
- circular and rectangular in shape - support different sized products
weighing up to 50 lbs. The variety of disks allows selection of one
to be nearly invisible underneath the product.
A
motorized controller located next to the Orbiculight control panel can
be programmed to turn the Turntable continuously at pre-determined speeds
for video or stepped to move a certain number of degrees at selected
intervals automatically or manually for Quick Time VR imaging. For example,
the turntable can stop every 10 degrees for 10 second intervals and
an image shot. Exposures can then be "stitched" together to
simulate a revolving image.
Features/Benefits
Surrounding
light makes drop out simple and cuts down post-production time.
Different
sized disks not visible under the product means product can be lit from
underneath seamlessly.
Motorized
controller works automatically or manually to give shooter freedom to
change lighting between exposures or to sync with automatic camera exposures
which means shooter does not need to supervise each shot.
Movement
can be continuous, stepped at selected intervals and degrees and/or
change direction from clockwise to counter-clockwise, which gives shooter
multiple possibilities.
Programmable
speed of continuous revolution allows synchronizing with video camera
speed which can be sped up or slowed down at a later time. Excellent
usage for CD ROM, video and web production.
